The Lodge at Mound Creek Styled Shoot

We had the pleasure of working with some amazing vendors for this styled shoot! A brand new venue, not quite open yet is the perfect spot for a wedding or event. Located in a quiet wooded area in Montgomery, but not too far from all the amenities in The Woodlands. Photo credit Kirk Surber Photography
The Venue is built with gorgeous dark wood on two levels with a sweeping staircase to show off the bridal gown. The florals on either side of the staircase with used first on the ceremony arch - always like to re-purpose ceremony flowers!
Our color palate was various shades of yellow which popped against the dark wood. Peonies being in season at the time, they were used as the focal in the centerpieces. We had tall and short centerpieces along with the peonies was hydrangea, roses, pincushion protea, thistle, succulents and stock.
On the opposite end of the staircase is a floor to ceiling brick fireplace with mantle. The cake table was situated there. Check out the neat cake details of scrabble letters! Again the yellow peony took center stage on the cake.
Our beautiful model bride wore the floral crown so well and notice her floral "engagement ring". Flowers used in the crown are spray roses, stock blooms, thistle and succulents.
Outside on the upper deck we set up our square arch and adorned with two off-set arrangements. The breeze caught the veil for a perfect shot!

Madeline and Ryan chose The Woodlands United Methodist Church for their ceremony and The Woodlands Country Club, Legacy Ballroom for their reception. Photo credit - Kasey Lynn Photography
Madeline carried a sweet cascade bouquet of peonies, ranunculas and roses in various shades of pink. Ryan coordinated with a light pink rose boutonniere
The church aisle was decorated with pink tinted babies breath tied with light pink tulle which cascading to the floor.
Bridesmaid's carried light pink roses to go perfectly with their pink gowns
To break up the pink at the reception, navy blue sashes and napkins were uses from EB Inc Events. Three styles of centerpieces in our gold candelabras gave variety of height to the ball room. We decorated the fireplace with a garland of pink hydrangea, roses and babies breath. Lisa at Kiss the Cook cakes delivered a beautiful 4 tiered cake with a glass slipper for a topper and rhinestone bands between the tiers, just a couple of blooms were needed to complete the look!
