The colors of the wedding were inspired by the ocean. Our bride chose sapphire blue color for her bridesmaid's gowns.
The flowers for the bridal bouquet included white hydrangea, blush garden roses, blue thistle, mini calla lilies, miniature garden roses, babies breath, dusty miller and trailing ivy.
Due to the hot weather and humidity in July here in The Woodlands, the bride chose to have her ceremony indoors. The beautiful fireplace in the new ballroom at The Palmer Woodlands Country Club, was decorated to serve as the backdrop for the ceremony. Her father had built a trellis to fit inside the fireplace and we filled it with a variety of greenery. The mantle had greenery, bridal flowers and candles along it's length. Flanking each side of the fireplace were large flower arrangements placed on top of white columns and a shepherd hook with 2 hanging lanterns.
The head table was decorated with a garland of lemon leaf, with vases along length of table for the bride and bridesmaid's bouquets and the addition of floating candle light.
