The Blooming Idea Blog

Haleigh & Michael - Real Wedding

Haleigh arrived for her initial consultation with a clear idea of what she wanted for her wedding flowers. She had hand painted her invitations with flowers in shades of blush, pink, lavender and purple and wanted a very vintage feel to her wedding with lots of little details throughout.

The Bride carried a bouquet in a natural loose style in shades of blush with pops of lavender and fuschia including roses, gardenias, rosemary, waxflower, dusty miller and seeded eucalyptus. The Bridesmaid's gowns were blush pink and they carried a smaller bouquet similar to the bride's. All bouquets had trailing ribbons

The ceremony took place at the Woodlands Church, Chapel in the Woods. We decorated our iron garden arch with greenery and clusters of bridal flowers.
The reception followed at The Woodlands Country Club, Palmer Course where the tables had been covered in beautiful lace table linens provided by Elegant Beginnings. Haleigh had added a lot of vintage details to the tables with pictures, books, teacups and votives. Centerpieces included hydrangea, roses, stock and waxflower. On the sweetheart table we had a garland of greenery and bridal flowers with bride and groom signage and a "Love Never Fails" sign hanging from the garland.

The cake was provided by Kiss the Cook and featured a love birds topper and clusters of bridal flowers.
